Third Annual Charley Laventure Trail Work Day - This Saturday!

We here at Sellwood Cycle Repair are happy to support another round of trail work in the wonderful Post Canyon trail system.  Long-time shop friend, mountain biker, and Forest Service Ranger, Jim Thornton is responsible for organizing the Third Annual Charley Laventure trail day, and we're glad to be aboard.

Charley Laventure was a long-time Hood River resident, mountain biker, and steward of the trail systems that he rode.  Upon his passing, Jim decided that a trail would be a good way to memorialize the Hood River mountain bike fixture, and his legacy lives on within the Post Canyon trail system.

For further specifics feel free to contact Julie here at Sellwood Cycle Repair, or Dirty Finger Bike Shop in Hood River.

The work party is this Saturday, 11/17, from 9am-12pm.  We were instructed that interested parties are to meet at the first turn off after the Family Man parking lot on Riordan Hill Dr.  (Here's a map to the Family Man parking lot.)
